Sub/Version
004 Fight'Em/Fuel for
the Fire -The long-awaited new sub/version release is also Þnally out! This
time a split EP of Pure and Fringeli, continueing
on the path of exploring a dissident version of hardstep: perverting the drums,
subverting the bass!
Bambule
(Praxis 29) - four track
follow up to the Praxis 19 double pack. Free-style noise-scapes and sonic adventures
on side one with new original material, plus remixes by Photon Emissions on the
þip side of different Bambule material not featured on this 12", evoking
the last years' best hardnoize danceþoor moments.
16-17: Mechanophobia
12" (Praxis 31)
- massive 2-tracker by veterans of the noise-punk-free-improvisation scene from
Basel, Switzerland. Their earliest releases (as 16-17) go back as far as 1984
(on cassette) and their Þrst LP appeared in 1987 on their own Skin &
Speech label. A second (live) LP appeared on Christoph Fringeli's Vision label
in 1989. A few years later the CD Gyatso came out on Kevin Martin's (Techno Animal)
label Pathological. A 12" appeared later on DHR titled Human Distortion.
Their new 12" on Praxis consists of two 180 bpm tracks that go even further
in their quest for bass power and rapidity.
Praxis 27
by Base Force One: Welcome
to Violence. After being unavailable for some time, this classic in combining
hard breaks and hardcore is brought back into circulation with another pressrun
of 500.
Praxis 33
by Nomex: Trocante Gramofony
After a number of problems with manufacturing and delivery - the record was pressed
wrong at first and copies of the second pressing went missing, the copies we could
get are now being released, as the pressing agents refused to do another pressing.
Multidimensional noise assaults and locks from the master of adverse strategies!
On almost see through vinyl! Great re-working of Fire Is The Centre, plus Net
Of Sound, Life Destroy, Stay Down, Silence In The Burrow and No-Step 2000. Check
