February 2003

New release:

Nihil Fist - Think & DestroyPraxis 38 Nihil Fist Think & Destroy 12”
Six tracks of the most uncompromising speedcore noise around, Nihil Fist tests your capabilities to detect beats in a rapidfire assault on the senses. After 3 CDR’s this is his first vinyl, connecting power-noise with a militant attitude.

Re-press:
Praxis 21 Slaughter Politics 12”
2 tracks of industrial hardcore and 2 tracks of dark harsh breakcore comprise this classic ep, written by CF with collaborations with Nomex on one and the Invisible SP (Stormcore) on another track. A good opportunity to catch up if you’re unfamiliar with the earlier more hardcore oriented material, or (re-)discover the raw energy and dark passion.

Hecate The Magick of Female Ejaculation

Hecate - The Magick of Female EjaculationFifteen tracks serve as fifteen channels on a journey through the female psyche experienced through the eyes and ears of Hecate. Rachael Kozak, after releasing records for five years under this guise, has finally completed her debut solo album, which is now also available on CD. As a manifestation of the power of love, life, sex and death, The Magick of Female Ejaculation reaches deep into chambers where others fear to tread.

Like Cassvettes' Woman Under the Influence, Rachael has obviously been affected by the works of The Marquis DeSade, Jack Parsons, Dario Argento and his involvment with Goblin, in addition to a myriad of other historical personas that creatively broke through to new levels of expression. She mixes these energies together with merciless beats and grinding rhythms while adding her own deep rooted emotional intensities - combining all of these to form some of the most haunting yet completely rocking tracks. The level of production on this album demonstrates how in tune Hecate has become with these men's machines.

Subverting the dancefloor with occultist breakcore and one woman's lust, Praxis and Zhark International have joined forces to bring this record into the material realm.

Low Entropy - Anarcho-Psychotic EPPraxis 36 Low Entropy Anarcho-Psychotic EP 12”
Hailing from Hamburg, Low Entropy is one of the most exciting young producers of phuturistic breaks and hardcore. A riot of noise and beats in shimmering clear production, Anarcho-Psychotic is aptly named, but nevertheless also features moments of tranquility.

Crisis Theory 12”Praxis 37 Crisis Theory 12”
The new release on Praxis by Rachael Kozak and Christoph Fringeli was recorded in the period of 1999-2001 and shows the other side of the coin of their Sub/Version record, presenting more abstract and psychedelic breaks and noise with influences ranging from Hitchcock sountracks to metal bashing industrial music fused in their own aesthetic of dark breaks.

Also recently re-pressed was:
Praxis 32 Hecate Hate Cats E.P. 12”

Rachael Kozak’s first solo 12” appeared with a bang, presenting a radical and personal vision of breakcore, and setting her way for the output on her own Zhark International, HWF and Still Raven labels, as well as others like YB-70 and Zod. Merciless breaks, well balanced between distortion, energy and dark atmospheres. One track co-produced with Christoph Fringeli (Praxis label, Datacide magazine).
