Praxis Releases
This is a for the moment very sketchy overview of the records released on Praxis from the beginnings in 1992 until now. MP3's of most tracks are in the TUNES section.
I will, when I get around to it, add more infos and details about every record, so please check back.
Praxis 1 - Scaremonger EP
Written & produced by Christoph Fringeli in May 1992, with some help from Alex Buess (mastering), a limited run of white labels in autumn, released in December, one week after Praxis 2. This was number 1 in Echoes techno charts!
Praxis 1X - Scaremonger Remixes
“Soon we all will have Special Names" from Praxis 1 is remixed by Lagowski/Ubik, Bourbonese Qualk and DJ NoDoz. Released in spring 1993.
Praxis 2 - Bourbonese Qualk
First techno 12" by the legendary South London experimental band. November 1992.
Praxis 3 - Bourbonese Qualk: Qual EP

Praxis 4 - Metatron: Speed & Politics
On this 5-tracker the noise has mutated to a new kind of hardcore, first record by CF entirely produced in South London. 1993
Praxis 5CD - Bourbonese Qualk: Autonomia
Full length album reflecting the “techno" sound of BQ in ist whole range from chilled out pieces to raw hardcore, as well as the experiences of playing at parties and an American tour. CD only.
Praxis 6 - Noface
5 more tracks by CF, this time leaning more towards dark and hard acid (or his interpretation of...)
Praxis 7 - Disciples of Belial: Songs of Praise
7" with 3 satanic gabber tracks... a legend
Praxis 8 - Metatron: Seduction
6 tracks using the same sounds and speed, recomposing and re-seducing each other.
Praxis 9 - DJ Jackal: Drumtrax
Short-lived multiple name concept “DJ Jackal" makes an appearance on Praxis. First edition appears on coloured vinyl without labels.
Praxis 10CD - V/A : Paraphysical Cybertronics - The Experiments of Bloor Schleppy
A more abstract listening compilation with Lagowski, GTO, Deadly Buda, Noface and more. This production was done with a new distributor who ends up messing things up.
Praxis 11 - Heist: Dystrophic
Industrial hardcore at its best.
Praxis 12 - DJ Yubba/DJ Deviant: Worlds Fattest Split
Leaning more in a gabber direction, with some breaks sneaking in.
Praxis 13 - Lorenz Attractor: Strange Attractor
A more experimental approach with excellent compositions, taking some inspiration from the new sounds coming from Italy at the time. At first hard to sell as people seem to identify Praxis with “hardcore" at this point.
Praxis 14 - Deadly Buda
Our ally from Pittsburgh with 3 deadly tracks.
Praxis 15 - does not exist (yet)
Praxis 16 - Cyberchrist: Information:Revolution
Hard acidcore and a more chilled track by the man Biochip C.

Praxis 23 - V/A: Dead By Dawn.
Killer double album compilation dedicated to the legendary parties of the same name. 1996.
Praxis 24 - Society of Unknowns
Collaboration of Aphasic and CF. At first a similar effect like with the Lorenz Attractor release before, the audience seems puzzled by the experimental breaks, but slowly it sinks in.

Killer 4-tracker and hopefully a taster for more to come.
